ND YAG Laser Flash Lamp — Pulsed Xenon Pump Lamps for Q-Switch & Pico Lasers
Replacement pulsed xenon flash lamps (pump lamps) for Q-switched ND YAG, Pico laser, and IPL+ND YAG combo beauty machines. Available in 7mm, 8mm, and 9mm outer diameters — multiple arc lengths from 75mm to 150mm. CE-certified quartz tubes with thorium-tungsten electrodes. Send your old lamp dimensions or machine model for exact matching.
Φ7mm Flash Lamps — Standard Beauty Lasers
Most common diameter for compact and mid-size Q-switched ND YAG beauty machines. Used in tattoo removal, carbon peel, and skin rejuvenation systems.
Φ8mm Flash Lamps — Medium-Power Lasers
Most popular diameter for mid-to-high power Q-switched ND YAG and Pico laser machines. Widely used in professional clinics.
Φ9mm Flash Lamps — High-Power Lasers
For the most powerful Q-switched ND YAG and Pico laser systems. Used in high-volume clinics and deep tattoo removal workstations.
Key Specifications
How to Measure Your Flash Lamp
ND YAG flash lamp sizes are specified as Outer Diameter × Arc Length × Total Length (all in mm). Measure your old lamp before ordering:
- Outer Diameter — measure across the glass tube (typically 7, 8, or 9mm)
- Arc Length — distance between the two electrode tips inside the tube
- Total Length — overall length from one end cap to the other (including electrode connectors)
⚠️ Important: ND YAG pump lamps are NOT the same as IPL xenon lamps. ND YAG lamps are typically longer (total 155–290mm) with larger arc gaps than IPL lamps (90–175mm). If you're unsure, send us a photo of your old lamp with a ruler for sizing.
FAQ
Q: How is this different from an IPL xenon lamp?
ND YAG pump lamps are larger (arc 75–150mm vs IPL 50–75mm) and designed for higher single-pulse energy (90–240J vs IPL 20–60J). They pump ND YAG crystals rather than producing broadband IPL light directly. Physically different — not interchangeable.
Q: How do I know which size I need?
Measure your old lamp: outer diameter, arc length, and total length. Or send us your machine model — we'll cross-reference the correct size. If you don't have the old lamp, we can look up your machine's specifications.
Q: Can I reuse a flash lamp from a different machine?
Only if the dimensions match exactly. Flash lamps are machine-specific — dimensions, electrode type, and cooling requirements must all match. Using the wrong lamp can damage your laser cavity.
Q: What's the typical lifespan?
~106 pulses or approximately 300 hours of operation. Replace when you notice energy output dropping, unstable firing, or difficulty triggering.
