⚠️ Important: Cooling chips come in different power ratings (TEC1-12706 / TEC1-12708 / TEC1-12710). Using the wrong chip can damage your machine or fail to reach treatment temperature. Send us a photo of your existing chip's label or measure its dimensions before ordering.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know which cooling chip model I need?
The chip model is printed on the chip itself (e.g., TEC1-12706). Send us a photo of the chip label — we will match the exact model. If the label is worn, measure the chip dimensions (40×40mm is standard) and tell us your machine model.
Signs of cooling chip failure?
Handle not reaching target temperature (stays above 0°C), temperature fluctuating wildly, or one side of the chip not cooling. Cooling chips typically last 10,000-20,000 hours but can fail prematurely from overheating or poor thermal paste contact.
Can I replace the chip myself?
Yes, if you are comfortable with basic electronics. The chip is mounted with thermal paste between a heat sink and cooling plate. Unplug the machine, remove the old chip, apply new thermal paste (included with purchase), and mount the new chip. Takes 20-30 minutes.
