Selection depends on the patient's fat thickness and treatment area. Perform a pinch test: measure the skin fold thickness in cm, then choose a cartridge depth approximately half the fold thickness. Example: 3cm fold → 1.3-1.6cm cartridge. Always start conservatively with a shallower depth on the first session.

Liposonix cartridges are specifically designed for body contouring and fat reduction. They operate at greater depths (0.6-1.6cm into subcutaneous fat) vs. regular HIFU cartridges (1.5-13mm into dermis/SMAS). Liposonix uses higher energy to generate 65-70°C at the focal point to destroy fat cells. Regular HIFU cartridges target skin layers for lifting and tightening, not fat reduction. Never use Liposonix cartridges on the face.
Are these cartridges compatible with original Liposonix machines?
Yes. Our cartridges are compatible with original Liposonix (Solta Medical) machines as well as Chinese Liposonix clone systems.
