ND YAG Laser Handpiece — Single Lamp Single Rod / Dual Rod / Carbon Peel
Replacement handpieces for Q-switched ND YAG and Pico laser machines. Three types available: single lamp single rod (standard), single lamp dual rod (higher power), and carbon peel (black doll) handpieces. Compatible with most China-made laser tattoo removal and skin rejuvenation systems.
1. Single Lamp Single Rod ND YAG Handpiece
The most common type. One xenon flash lamp excites one ND YAG crystal rod — standard configuration for most Q-switched tattoo removal and skin rejuvenation machines.
2. Single Lamp Dual Rod ND YAG Handpiece
Higher-power variant. One xenon flash lamp excites two ND YAG crystal rods — for faster treatment speed and deeper penetration.
3. Carbon Peel (Black Doll) ND YAG Handpiece
Specialized handpiece for the popular “black doll” / carbon peel facial treatment. Uses 1064nm Q-switched pulses to shatter carbon particles applied to the skin — deep cleansing, pore tightening, and skin rejuvenation in one procedure.

FAQ
Q: What's the difference between single lamp single rod and dual rod?
Single rod uses one ND YAG crystal; dual rod uses two crystals for approximately 50% higher pulse energy. Dual rod is better for deep/professional tattoos. Single rod covers 90% of clinical needs.
Q: Is the carbon peel handpiece different from the standard one?
Yes. Carbon peel handpieces are optimized for 1064nm Q-switched mode with specific spot size and energy parameters designed for carbon particle shattering. Using a standard tattoo handpiece for carbon peel may not achieve optimal results.
Q: What's the typical handpiece lifespan?
The handpiece body lasts indefinitely with proper maintenance. The flash lamp inside needs replacement every ~300 hours or 106 shots. The ND YAG crystal rod lasts much longer (5+ years) unless physically damaged.
